Job Description:

Are you an Electrical Engineer, PE, looking to grow your career in a full-time role with an award-winning, multidiscipline firm? Wood Harbinger is a successful consulting engineering firm in Bellevue. We are growing and have a great opportunity for a talented senior-level Electrical Engineer.

As a key member of our team, you’ll be applying your advanced engineering skills and principles while working with/leading multi-disciplinary teams as you work on and manage projects. Along the way you’ll get to share your expertise by mentoring bright, motivated junior staff and help leverage our established project management procedures. You’ll have the ability to consult with high quality clients based on your technical skillset and professional expertise.

Projects include power distribution, motor controls, lighting systems, fire alarms, and security and communication systems for buildings within the markets of aviation, education, healthcare, marine, military, science and labs, and municipal.

Experience and Skills:

Here's is what we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • State of Washington Registered PE (or registered in a state of reciprocity or equivalent and demonstrated experience)
  • LEED AP Certification
  • 10 years’ electrical engineering experience in the A/E industry
  • Knowledge of multiple project types including education, military, central plant, life sciences, healthcare
  • Sustainable design knowledge
  • Well-developed project management and people management skills, with ability to manage budgets, mentor staff, and hold others accountable for deliverables that exceed expectations
  • Proven client skills, with ability to interact with a diverse blend of personalities and influence others internally and externally toward common goals
  • Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Able to multi-task and yet remain highly detail oriented
  • Demonstrated life-long learner
